I am very familiar with the Seacoast as I grew up nearby. I adore the area and feel it has a lot of amenities. Many things of interest are within a short drive. (The White Mountains, the ocean or lakes, downtown Portsmouth with its theater & restaurants, University of NH, Boston, Portland, etc.). Dover now has the Downeaster Amtrack train that runs from Portland, ME to Boston, MA. Manchester airport is within 1 hour. It's just a great place for everything!
